Birthday glitterati***
Since I have FINISHED my Christmas cards and since I have 13 birthdays in December, you may be seeing a lot more birthday cards posted in the next few days!!
This one is done with an image from Robin Pickens who designs for American Art Stamp.
I simply stamped the image, colored it with Copics, added some True Red glitter, some PTI ribbon and some designer paper from my bit bin.
The rhinestones were added on either side for a little interest..
Simple and fast!!!
Check out the American Art Stamp blog for more great ideas and inspiration***

SSNOTIME114*** WRAP IT UP***
Hello everyone! Time for Sharon's Stamp Simply Weekend. This time we are wrapping things up. For Christmas, a birthday.. anything you want. And wrap anything you want. A card, a gift, a book!! Go and take a look at all the inspiration from our designer and then go WRAP!!!
I have a few things to show you.
The first one is this money holder. Just a piece of designer paper measuring 7" x 5" and scored at 1" and 4". I added a little piece of paper on the inside to hold the money. Just used skinny double sided tape on three sides.
I had these Bazzill chipboard snowflakes so I found some acrylic paint that was the same color scheme, painted both sides and then added a line of glitter all the way around. A little sentiment from PTI and some wonderful ribbon from Sharon's store.

This is a little travel candle that I found in my gift stash. I used the same designer paper from above (the scraps) and covered the tin and the top, added a bow and another sentiment from PTI. SIMPLE!!!

The last little project I have uses Lauren Meaders "Music Makeover" template. I printed it onto some wonderful Christmas paper and put it all together.
Then I cut out a Bigz snowflake diecut on my Big Shot - two of them and sandwiched them together with glue. I covered them with some of the designer paper I used and added a piece of gold twine for a hanger.
I used the innards of the snowflake (the stars) as a decoration on the front of the box as well as some of Sharon's ribbon again and another PTI sentiment.
There is a theme here.
Have some fun wrapping your gifts this weekend***
Take a look at all the other designer's projects*** And welcome back Jennifer Buck and say hi to our new regular contributor, Barb Schram*** It's going to be FUN!!!

Another Christmas card for the box***
Hi everyone*** Hope you are enjoying your day!!
This image is from one of Anna Wight's latest releases. I stamped him in Memento black ink and colored him up with Copics.
He was punched out with a circle nestabilitie. The punch at the bottom of the card is a Martha Stewart punch that embosses as well. The ribbon is PTI and the sentiment is from the same set as the snowman.
Enjoy everyone and thanks soooooooooooooooo much for stopping in***

SSNOTIME113*** MATCHBOOK FOLD
<

IT'S FRIDAY AND TIME FOR SHARON'S STAMP SIMPLY CHALLENGE!!
The challenge today is to use a matchbook fold in your creations. I chose to stay with a Christmas card theme. Why you ask?? I still have about 25 cards left to make and I need to stay focused.
My matchbook fold card is a piece of cardstock cut to 4" x 81/2" scored at 4" and 8". Pretty simple and it will fit nicely into a square envelope.
I stamped the snowman who is from Printworks, in black archival ink, onto watercolor paper and watercolored him with Tombow markers. I layered to matching paper from my bit bin. I folded my card and used my scraps to decorate the small fold. I also used some brads and snowflakes from Hero Arts. Before I attached the strip I used a small staple close to the fold in the middle. You will have to trim the 1/2" that fits into the fold a wee bit so that it fits properly.
I attached the snowman so that he was centered when the matchbook was closed.
I also found this huge button in my stash that were the exact colors of my cardstock so decided to attach it with a glue dot and some twine.
Here is a pic of the inside of the card. You could stamp a sentiment or leave it for your own words to someone special at Christmas***Take a look at all the other creations from this fabulous group of women!!!

A batch 'o cards***
I put these cards together quickly with scraps from my bit bucket, Papertrey inks Holiday button bits set and ribbon. Four more for my Christmas stash!! The buttons are also PTI's.
I stamped the ornament tops in gold Encore ink and then did the hanging bows in black archival ink. I distressed the edges with Antique linen ink as well as roughing up the edges of the white cardstock before matting it to matching colors of the designer papers.
Have a great day everyone***

Well I fiddled around with a number of ideas and then went to town on this card. Brown paper just screams old and vintage to me so I stamped a Tim Holtz design in the middle of a piece of brown wrapping paper and overstamped with the verse. The Santa was stamped in Vintage Sepia versafine ink and the verse stamped in Smokey Gray.
I used Old Lipstick distress ink to ink up the Santa a little and the sides and then scrunched the piece.
I ironed it and then couldn't leave well enough alone. I attached it to a piece of chipboard and modge podged it. Then layered to black and then to red.
I added a sentiment from Inkadinkado and a little gemstone for sparkle.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone... See you soon!!!
