HA!!! If the Broom Fits***

I absolutely LOVE that phrase..*** And when I saw this witch and this phrase from Northwood stamps I just had to have it and I think this will be the last of my Hallowe'en cards . I REALLY need to start on Christmas...
I stamped the image in black archival ink and watercolored it with Tombow markers. I did the background in Solar Gold H2Os. I wanted it to have a billowy, witchy feel to it... if that makes any sense!!!
And aren't those cobwebs underneath her boots just awesome??!!!
I layered the images to black cardstock, gold mirri card and a dark purple Bazzill and a few deep purple dew drops.
Well everyone enjoy and I am now off to clean up a large leak underneath our kitchen sink that my husband just finishing fixing.

Mr. Pumpkin Heads***

These pumpkins are for my nieces at Thankgiving. I painted the pumpkin cut outs, sealed them and attached them to paper mache boxes that I also painted. I used some of my Hallowe'en rub ons on the box itself and then modgepodged them.
Have a great day everyone!!!

Nosey Women***

This stamp is designed by Ken Brown for American Art Stamp and he has entitled it "Nosey Women". I stamped the image in black archival ink onto cream cardstock, distressed it with Scattered Straw distress ink and then crumpled it up to make it look old. I flattened it out and then layered it to black cardstock. The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils.
I added the sentiment stamped with a Hero Arts alphabet set and used a piece of designer paper from my stash that seemed to work well with it.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by***

Celebrate the Bride***

Happy Saturday everyone! This image is designed by Karen Stolper for American Art Stamp. Check out the blog HERE*** There are some amazing cards being made by the Design Team.
I stamped the image on Shimmer white cardstock in Black archival ink and just lightly colored it spots with a pink Copic marker.
Although it is hard to see, I added glitter to the wedding gown and to the dress that the bride is wearing.
I added a black border and adhered that to pink shimmer cardstock, added the sentiment and a large pink prima with a smaller white one.. The design on the right edge of the card is done with a Martha Stewart punch.
Have a fabulous day and thanks so much for stopping by***

Sharon described Jennifer's work classy with fresh colors!!

This is my contribution to this week's challenge.
I stamped the flower in black archival ink on watercolor paper and watercolored it in pinks, greens and yellows
I backed it with some yellow cardstock and used green and pink cardstock as the main layer. The pink ribbon is adhered underneath the main image with a bow tied at the flower's stem.

SSNOTIME52 *** CUDDLE UP WITH TAMMY***

Well after all the celebration it is time for this week's Stamp Simply Challenge..
This week it is all about Tammy!!
Check out her site HERE!! Tammy's work is just beautiful.. She uses designer paper, brads and wonderful ribbons and fabric in her creations.
She also lays her papers on the diagonal in many of her cards which I really like so I used that as my inspiration.
I wanted to use this opportunity to make a birthday card for my younger son who is turning 20 next week. When he was much younger whenever you asked him what his favorite color was he would say GREEN!! So I used shades of green in my card base and the background paper and used a designer paper on the diagonal which is from Daisy Bucket.. The ribbon is from my stash and really matched the designer paper well.
The stamp is from Magenta and is all about the "Journey of Life" !!
Of course I used my dew drops. Tammy uses alot of brads so I substituted my dew drops for brads.
Check out Sharon's site *** NOT TIME TO STAMP *** for all the links to the other fabulous creations from this WONDERFUL design team.
Have a great day everyone !!!

The sentiment is from MSE. I used a gold glitter pen to outline the stamens on the flower.

Have a great day everyone!!

Blog Candy Winner***

Denise Clark from Stamping Vacation is the winner of my Blog Candy!!
Congratulations Denise!!!

Denise wrote***

A romantic moment....I can write pages. I am married to an extremely romantic man. We dated in HS and then were separated through no fault of our own. 30 years later we reunited and are now happily married. He leaves little notes on my desk and computer, brings me stamping stuff, builds stamping storage units for me, compliments me and most importantly treats me like I'm the best thing that ever happened to him. I'm a lucky woman!

Denise

SSNOTIME51*** DANCIN' WITH DEE*** and ANNIVERSARY KICK - OFF***

There is so much to tell you about this week's challenge. First of all this Friday's challenge is all about Dee... Check out her blog HERE and see why we talk about "Dancin' With Dee". Dee uses alot of 2 and 3 step stamps in her work.
She creates beautiful cards !!!
I don't have many 2 or 3 step stamps but had one from Stampin Up. Dee also does many altered items so I decided to incorporate both !! My niece was visiting a few weeks while both my boys were at home. I took a picture of the three of them and bought this frame at Michael's, painted it and stamped it with the daisy stamp. Unfortunately the second step of the daisy didn't look good on the frame so I used it on the tag that I made to send along to her.
I hope you enjoy*** and Dee this one's for you***
Also this is the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of Sharon's blog - NO TIME TO STAMP***
Check out Sharon's site for all the details*** You won't be disappointed***
AND next week it is also the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE STAMP SIMPLY CHALLENGE!
There is going to be fun and games, blog candy on all the design team's sites, guest designer spots and much more!!!
Keep posted to Sharon's site every day for the next week or so to be involved in all the fun *** and enter to win TONS of great stuff***

Autumn Greetings***

I just love this turkey and I use it every year for Thanksgiving. Both the turkey and the sentiment are from Prinkworks... I stamped the image on a piece of cream cardstock and cut it out with a circle nestabilities.
I punched a circle out of the card base and the designer paper to let the turkey show through.
The turkey is colored with Copics.
The sentiment is stamped in black archival ink and given a touch of color.
A few dew drops were added for good measure.
Enjoy everyone and thanks for stopping by.***

Leaf Shower***

This is a American Art Stamp designed by Karen Stolper.
I stamped her in Black Brilliance ink and colored carefully with Copics.
I added some pretty prima flowers and a little pumpkin tag. The pumpkin is from a Stampin Up kit.
I also used some Scattered Straw distress ink to ink up the edges of the cream cardstock.
Happy days everyone ***

Spider's house***

Check out Nichole Heady's site for the template for this cute birdhouse.
Instead of a Christmas ornament I thought I would do a home for my Hallowe'en spider***
I think these are the cutest things!!
You really can't see it too well but there is a spider's web on the roof.
Simple to put together!!
Have a great day!!!
