This week's STAMP SIMPLY CHALLENGE is to use brown wrapping paper or brown lunch bags and let that be the basis of your creations. You can make a card, wrap something, make a tag, whatever your brown wrapping tells you to.
Check out Sharon's site HERE for all the details and check out the other design team's creations*** We also say goodbye to Amy Rohl at Ink About Me and hello to Bethany Paul at It's Not all Black and White. She will be joining us a guest designer for November.

Well I fiddled around with a number of ideas and then went to town on this card. Brown paper just screams old and vintage to me so I stamped a Tim Holtz design in the middle of a piece of brown wrapping paper and overstamped with the verse. The Santa was stamped in Vintage Sepia versafine ink and the verse stamped in Smokey Gray.
I used Old Lipstick distress ink to ink up the Santa a little and the sides and then scrunched the piece.
I ironed it and then couldn't leave well enough alone. I attached it to a piece of chipboard and modge podged it. Then layered to black and then to red.
I added a sentiment from Inkadinkado and a little gemstone for sparkle.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone... See you soon!!!
