Sharon's STAMP SIMPLY CHALLENGE this week is to make a pretty tag to hang on bottle, attach to a package or anywhere your tag might call home.

I, again, am killing two birds with one stone.

We are going to friends for dinner next week and I wanted to make something to transport the bottle of wine in.

So I cut a piece of white felt 12 1/2" x 16", folded it in half lengthwise and pinked the top.

I cut out some holly leaves from green felt just by hand and stitched them onto one side, added the stem with a running stitch and then added some buttons for the holly berries. Turning right sides together, I just stitched it up on my sewing machine. After adding the bottle of wine I added a piece of red silk ribbon and the TAG!!

I wanted to find something that resembled the holly and berries on the bag so chose a set from Papertrey Ink, " Holiday Button Bits ". I stamped the leaves in Versamagic Tea Leaves ink, added some glitter and again added buttons for the berries.

The sentiment is from the same set.. I attached it to the bag with some funky red fibers. The tag is" ULTRA SIMPLE". This time of year I don't need to concentrate on anything too complicated.
