Stamping Bella's Bellarific Challenge

Hi there.. Happy Sunday!! Stamping Bella's Friday Challenge this week was to create a card in pinks and browns using Bella stamps.
I used Prism cardstock in brown and pink and some designer paper with browns and pinks.
The butterfly is a Bella stamp, inked in Black Memento ink, colored with Lyras and gamsol and cut out into a scallop circle.
I added some Antique Linen distress ink to the edges and some glitter to the antennae and dots.
The ribbon is from Michael's.
Check out the challenge HERE!

SSNOTIME84***PIPING***

Time for Sharon's Stamp Simply Challenge for Friday April 24th...
HERE is Sharon's view of today's challenge because I tell you something... I am NOT a sewer!! Give me a straight line and I am good but Piping!! HA!!
Only Sharon could come up with something like this!!
I stayed true to the challenge and my two pieces of paper are separated by the "piping" piece in the middle.
I also stayed true to the STAMP SIMPLY part of these challenges and stamped the sentiment right on the designer paper. This card came together in about two minutes after I decided on colors and paper and stamps.
Enjoy and check out Julie , Becky , AJ, Jennifer, Dee, Tammy and our guest designer this month Jenny***'s wonderful creations...

It's a BOY***

Hi there everyone!! This cute little image is from Inkadinkado. I colored the image with versamagic dew drops and the line and clothespin with a brown Tombow marker. It was cut out and embossed with a deckle nestabilitie and some blue ink was sponged on around the edges.
The purple designer paper is from a Target in Ohio when I was there about three years ago.
The sentiment is from the same set. The button from my stash and the ribbon from Papertrey Ink.
Enjoy***

Just for you***

This card is much prettier in real life... The lighting is horrible today.
Anyway I stamped this cute bee from Stampendous in Black Memento ink and colored him with my Lyras. I added glitter to his wings and cut him out and embossed him with my circle nests..
I added a scallop circle with drops of glitter glue all around . I also added some simple stitching around the designer paper. I added some lovely yellow satin ribbon a la Michael's and called it a day!!
Enjoy everyone and thanks SO much for stopping by***

SSNOTIME83*** THREAD IT***

This week Sharon's challenge is to use thread on your card... Thread it through holes that you make or through holes that are made with a punch! Well I immediately thought of my treading water punch from Fiskars and added a border to a mat on my card and used some twine to thread through the holes... I am still on a quest to use bits from my bit box and that is exactly what I did with this card. The primas are from my stash as well. The sentiment is from Art Impressions...

Don't forget to check out Sharon's site HERE for all the details and the links to the rest of the design team and play along!! It's fun to use different textures on your art!!

SSNOTIME81*** SOMETHING EGGY***

This week it's all about being "EGGY" for Sharon's Stamp Simply challenge***
Alter something, paint something, stamp or color something as long as it is eggy and Easterish.

Well I took my Stamp Simply to the most simplistic of simple.
Does this look like an egg? No of course not.
The egg is inside the box. It is a chocolate egg that has candy eggs on the inside.
I made these little boxes for my nieces for next weekend. We are going to my brother and sister-in-laws house for Easter dinner and I thought these would look nice at the girls place at the table.. Sorry that my picture isn't the greatest but you get the idea... I think...
You can see a fabulous tutorial that Julie from "OUT TO IMPRESS" did HERE.

Also check out Sharon's site HERE for the details and the links to the other designers and to our guest designer for the month, Jenny Gropp who is One Krafty Kat.

The sentiment is also from an Anna Wight set as well as the flutterby.

The designer paper is from my bit box and for the life of me I can't remember who it is by.

The ribbon is from Michael's.

Amy S. asked where I purchased my Lyra pencils.
I got them at Stamping Bella in Markham, Ontario.
Try there and see if they can help you....
