I think I have done this long legged creature from American Art Stamp once before but I like her so much I am doing it again.

Stamped in Memento black ink and colored with Copics.

The designer paper is from K & Company and the ribbon from Michael's. The sentiment is from American Art Stamp as well.

Good morning everyone!! I hope you had a fabulous weekend. We sure did!!
Our sons threw us a little get together for our 25th wedding anniversary and they did such a fabulous job!

We celebrated with friends and family, good food and wine and lots of laughs !! Laughing at some of the wedding photos from 25 years ago***!!!

Anyway this card is for my niece and her husband who are celebrating their 2nd year of marriage.

The image and sentiment are from Hero Arts. I stamped it in Memento black ink and colored it with Prismalcolor pencils and gamsol. I used my rectangle nestabilities to cut out the image and the scalloped layer. The dp is from K and Company, the ribbon from PTI and some dew drops.

I added the sentiment to the inside and a strip of the designer paper as well.

SSNOTIME106*** AUTUMN RICHNESS***

Hello everyone!! It's Friday and that means STAMP SIMPLY*** Today our challenge was to make a card using leaves. Or if you don't have any leaves use something fall-ish!! An acorn maybe or a pumpkin***

Also use the rich colors of autumn along with some sponging in those autumnal colors that are popping up all over the place now!!

My card is a simple leave from Flourishes, stamped in Versamark ink, and embossed with Queen's Gold e.p.

I colored it quickly with Tombow markers and water and then sponged on distress inks in Aged Mahogany, Spiced marmalade and Fired Brick. I started lightly and then just kept adding color until I was happy with what I saw.

American Art Stamp Christmas Trees

This is an image designed by Robin Pickens for American Art Stamp.

I stamped it in Razzberry chalk ink and then distressed around the edges. A little glitter was added to the image as well with a sentiment from AAS.

The paper is Cosmo Cricket and I used both sides. The bottom was the back side which I just cut to look like a hill and stitched it onto the other piece of paper.

The ribbon is from Michael's.

Happy Birthday Chicken***

Good Sunday morning to everyone!!

And a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my younger son Tyler!! He is 21 today.

It's a beautiful day here and we are getting ready to clean the gutters. Yahoo!! Can you tell I am really excited!

This is a set from Anna Wight. I stamped the chicken and the cake on watercolor paper in black archival ink and colored them up with Tombow markers.

I popped the cake up and added the sentiment.

The designer paper is just from my bit bucket.

Here is what I have created for this event!! I found some wonderful Christmas paper all glittery and glitzy and I had two sheets of it.

I created an origami box, a card, a few tags and used the remainder to cover the front of a kraft bag.

I used the Upper Case Brayton Font and the horizontal stamper to very simply spell out "JOY" using Crimson Versafine ink. After I used a Quickie glue pen to add a little fine glitter to the letters. The sentiment is layered to red and olive green cardstock and then adhered to the tags, box and card.

Here is a pic of the bag and origami box... A little bit of paper and some great products and minimal effort for a wonderful gift...

SSNOTIME105***CAS/BIO

CLEAN AND SIMPLE AND BLACK OR BROWN INK ONLY is the order of this week's Stamp Simply challenge... Letting your black or brown ink be all by itself. No coloring!!

You can used whatever paper or embellishments you want but keep it CAS!!!

Well my card couldn't get any simpler or cleaner.

I used Serendipity Stamps inked up with Black archival ink, stamped on orange prism paper and that is it!

I roughed up the edges of the order piece, layered on black and then again on orange and added a simple black silk ribbon from Sharon's store.

OH HAPPY DAYS ***

My husband and I recently (last week) celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary.

We decided to steal away for a few days to Ste. Anne's Spa in Grafton Ontario.. What a wonderful spot! It is on 500 acres with hiking trails, gardens, and beautiful scenery for as far a you can see.

The main buildings have been around for many many years and they have added on wonderful treatment rooms, hot tubs, steam baths etc.

No TVs, no computers, no cell phones! HEAVEN!! And to tell you the truth I didn't miss any of them.

We ate like royalty, had our feet and backs rubbed and spent time lounging in our robes all day!! IT WAS AMAZING!!

I married the most wonderful man in the world and I am so glad that we spent the weekend together just relaxing!!! All is right with the world!!

SSNOTIME104*** HALLOWE'EN IS ALMOST HERE***

My Hallowe'en project was quite simple... I had this clear cellophane bag on my work table so I covered the front with a piece of designer paper. The tag and pumpkins on the piece below the tag are stickers from my friend Kay. She sent me a whole pile of goodies so I thought how easy is this!! Stick the stickers on and voila!! The little sentiment is from PTI***

Here is the back of the bag...all full of goodies for a good little hobgoblin...unless I eat them first!!

So go ahead and create something fun and SIMPLE for Hallowe'en.

I am on a felt kick***

Just finished this one up last night! This one is made out of wool not wool felt. It is also stitched with wool thread using a whip stitch around most of the pieces and the box stitch around the white star and the green and beige circle.

This is from a fabulous new set by Papertrey Ink... I stamped the image and colored it with Copics and used Antique Linen distress ink to ink up the edges. I used a circle and scallop circle nestabilitie and some red ribbon from PTI!!

I also used my diamond glaze to make the pot look like glass...

This week the challenge is simple*** Stamp your sentiment directly on top of your image.
No tags, no bits, just right on top!!



For my card this week, I used Papertrey Ink's guide lines set and stamped two of the images in Coffee Bean Brilliance ink and Olive Chalk ink.

The Happy Birthday sentiment was stamped directly on top of the images in black archival ink.

The ribbon is from Sharon's store, the paper from PTI and the dew drops from Robin's Nest.
