SSNOTIME129***PUNCHED BORDERS

Hello everyone!! I missed you last week... My husband and I were visiting family for the weekend!! Great time... I am back and Tammy Hershberger has very kindly agreed to co-ordinate this week's challenge...

Use your border punches to create a card or project... Or use your corner punch to create detail in your creation. Check out Tammy's project HERE for some great inspiration and Sharon's project HERE ***

I just love the box that Sharon made a couple of weeks ago so I thought I would try to incorporate my punched detail into another box that I am making for a friend. Sharon's tutorial is HERE for those of you who haven't seen it yet..

I cut the lid for the box and then used Martha Stewarts dot and scallop punch along the edges. You have to cut a bit of each side off so that it sits properly and looks neat and tidy... I then added a strip of black cardstock so that the detail stood out. I then completed the box lid with designer paper out of my bit bin, ribbon from Sharon's store, and a butterfly from PTI... I also used some designer paper to line the bottom of the box just for a little added interest.
On a sad note for me, Julie from OUT TO IMPRESS has decided to step down from the Stamp Simply Design Team... I will miss you sister!! I think that means a trip to Montana is on the horizon!!

Deb Neerman who was our guest designer last month will be stepping up and will be a regular on our team now... Welcome Deb!! We love ya!!

Marlene Bender is March's guest designer... Check out her creations HERE ***

And last but not least check out all the fabulous projects from our team this week!! And if you are going to join in the fun don't forget to link up on Sharon's site with Mr. Linky so we can see what you did***
