Adding texture to cards is fun. Today lets try to add texture, but still keep it clean and simple. Those 2 challenges may seem to be incongruous, but let's try! I think we'll get some pretty results!!! Your texture can come in any form -- embossing, distressing, adding embellishments for dimension -- whatever you like -- just add some fun texture to a CAS creation!!!

I don't use my Cuttlebug folders as often as I should and thought that this would be a great way to add some texture and still keep it CAS.

I used my distress inks and water first to color a piece of white cardstock. I used Peeled Paint and Antique Linen. Dry it thoroughly and iron to flatten.
Run it through your Cuttlebug or Big shot with a folder. I used the leaf one.

I added a piece of ribbon turned back on itself with a detail rhinestone. I also put the corners through my corner rounder for a little more detail. No sentiment this time. I hadn't decided what to use but will probably do a birthday sentiment on the inside.
