This is a card for a couple of friends of mine who have been sick over the holidays. They are on slowly on the mend.

I used some designer paper by Basic Grey called "Kioshi - Water Lilly".

The teapots are from Papertrey Ink. The "Tea for Two" and "Tea for Two Additions" stamped in Onyx Black versafine ink. I used a sentiment from the same sets and also used the small scallop die from PTI. The ribbon is from Michaels.

On the inside I just added a strip of the designer paper and added two tea bags that should come in handy***

Birthday Wishes***

Good morning!! Another birthday card for January's birthdays. I used some polka dot paper from my bit bin and some navy linen cardstock for the base.

The strip in the middle is made with manila cardstock and I used Broken China, Peeled Paint and Spiced Marmalade distress inks with water to create the background. I then stamped the numbers, which is from the Fairytale Frenzy set by Tim Holtz, in Broken China distress ink over top, once it was dry. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink...

Just a quick thank you card!! Done with a PTI set, one of their anniversary sets I do believe.

Stamped in Ripe Avacado and Pure Poppy.. Same cardstock along with Rustic Ivory.

A few red gemstones as well... I hope everyone had a great Christmas***

Just a quick birthday card for a friend. The image and sentiment are from VERVE and the paper is Circa 1825 from Cosmo Cricket...

Going to a Christmas Open House tonight so my bottle of wine is decorated with a sentiment from Waltzingmouse Stamps and I used some of my Spellbinders dies as well.

The poinsettia is made from the Poinsettia Petal collection from Heartfelt Creations. I stamped all the pieces with Versamark Ink, embossed with Egyptian Gold powder and then cut them all out. They do have dies as well but I don't own of them. It really didn't take long at all.

HAPPY 80TH BIRTHDAY DAD!!!

Today is my DAD's 80th birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD***

We had a surprise celebration on November 21st with family and friends.

It was a fabulous day and Dad WAS surprised!!!

Christmas Tags***

In between shovelling and snow blowing I managed to make a few tags.

These are using many of Tim Holtz's stamps and embellishments. The star is Sissix Primitive stars die.

These tags are made from a die created by Verve Stamps. I cut it out in ivory cardstock, edged them with Fired Brick and Aged Mahogany distress inks.

The snowflake and sentiment are also from Verve stamps. The snowflake is stamped in Encore Green Metallic ink.

A red gemstone was added along with some twine.

So you like the snow eh???***

Well we have broken all kinds of records here in London, Ontario.. 70 cm of snow in one day!!

And it's still coming. Another 20-30 cm today and another 15 cm tomorrow!!

All the schools are closed, all the arenas are closed, everyone is being told to stay off the roads.

Here' s to the Canadian winter and snow days!!

Another Birthday Card***

I always have trouble with "guy" cards*** But this one came together nicely, I think! The card base is rustic ivory from PTI. The designer paper is from a Tim Holtz 12 x 12 Ideology pad, edged with Stormy Sky distress ink. The ivory piece on top was cut with a Tim Holtz Alterations die and edged with Stormy Sky and Walnut stain distress ink. The sentiment is from PTI and the little flourish is from a Tim Holtz stamp. The ribbon is Stampin' Up and the pin is from Tim Holtz as well.
