Pretty Flowers***

Hello everyone!! Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I tried to get a bunch of cards done to have on hand for the next few months.

We will be busy moving our new offices and I want to be able to send out birthday salutations even though I may not have a lot of time to create..

This is a Hero Arts stamps which I stamped with VersaMark and embossed with Detail white embossing powder onto watercolor paper.

I used Claudine Hellmuth's studio paints and water to color in the images.

I used some designer paper from my bit bin and added a few layers of white and blue cardstock.

I didn't use any sentiments on the outside because I thought it took away from the image itself...

I love to bake bread... by hand...

I clean and rearrange my craft room at least once a week.

I sit out in the sun, up here in Canada, in the cold, with my parka on.

I have started to play the piano again.

A little more sharing***

My aunt made us this fabulous snowman quilt this year ( and last year) for Christmas!!!*** She will know what THAT means!! LOL!!!

I think he's wonderful and will look all warm and cozy next to the tree next year!!

Sticky Back Canvas***

This card is made from Kraft cardstock and some bits of designer paper from my bit bin. For the flower I used Sticky Back Canvas which I tore into strips and sprayed with a combination of water, pearlex and broken china distress ink. I combined all those in a mini mister and sprayed the canvas. I punched out a 1" circle and used that to wind my strips onto.

The leaves were punched out of the Sizzix leaves die and sprayed with peeled paint distress ink.

The sentiment is from an Anna Wight set...

Make a Wish***

How simple can a card get???

I used a set from PTI with some papers from my bit bin.

I added a little yellow stickles to the candle flames and done... in the mail... took me 5 minutes to make.

Masked Tag***

I used a manila tag along with a clock mask from Tim Holtz. You place the mask on the tag and then use whatever distress inks you choose. I used Tea Dye, Walnut stain and Antique Linen.

Before I took the mask off, I added the French script stamp from Stampin Up and some butterflies from Tim Holtz's Urban chic stamp collection.

The sentiment is Tim Holtz as well and the ribbon is from Sharon's Ribbon store.

For a Birthday Boy***

I needed a birthday card for a little boy I know so I used PTI's number embossing plate for the background, their cupcake die cuts using some scraps from my bit bin.

I added some Martha Stewart coarse glitter and a sentiment from PTI as well.

Tag Mania***

Again I was playing around with some Tsukinenko inks that I found in a drawer.. I used a manila tag and a teflon craft sheet. I dropped some ink on the craft sheets, three different colors, added some water and this is what I achieved.

I added a dandelion image from Hampton Arts in black archival ink and some gemstones.

Playing Around***

Good morning everyone! I was just playing around this morning before I head to work... I have a few guy birthdays this month so decided to use a few of Tim Holtz' stamps, distress inks in Barn Red, Walnut Stain, Tea Dye and Black Soot and some ribbon to create a simple tag.
